The Chilean season has already left behind the peak of departures and faces the final third of volumes. Thus, the shipments of week 08 decreased to 2,302 tons, accumulating to date a total of 107,827 tons, 3% more than the previous year in the same week. The fall observed in the exports of this last week responds to the final period of the Chilean supply but also was influenced by the rainfall registered in the south area of the country, the main supplying area at the moment.

In line with the above, organic blueberries totaled only 269 tons during week 08, being mostly shipped to North America. The accumulated volumes to date reach 13,235 tons 39% more than the previous season to the same date.
