EDITORIAL

With the 1,788 tons exported during week 09, the total accumulated of 109,669 tons is close to the exported volume of last season.

In summary up to week 09, the total exports are 2% over last season at the same week, while organic blueberries total 13,371 tons, 36% over the previous season in the same week.

On the other hand, the weather continues unstable with intermittent rains that affect the harvest areas. This week (10) there was rainfall from Araucanía to the South, which could affect fresh exports.

North Zone:

Season is finished.

North-Central Zone:

Season is finished.

Central-South Zone:

The harvest rhythm continues at a moderate pace, typical of this stage of the season. Ochlockonee remains as the main variety along with Tifblue and Brightwell to a lesser extent.

South Zone:

Labors were interrupted this week due to the rains that affected the Araucanía Region to the south late this week. Varieties such as Legacy and Elliot are the most representative at the moment. The volumes continue decreasing.
